Geotour Souvenirs

Recommended Posts

Not sure if anyone has an answer, but still going to post...

When GeoTours are set up, in order to earn the Souvenir, you have to find all the caches in the tour. But over time, caches can go missing and might be archived, Can you still get the souvenir if caches are archived? If you do a tour and DNF a cache that later is archived because it was missing (thus you've still found all active caches) can you retroactively get the souvenir?

Regarding your last question, I don't think so. You have to log a find on all of the geocaches that are active at the time you do the geotour. So at the time of your last find on the geotour caches, if you have found all the active ones, you will get the souvenir. If you couldn't find one that was disabled because it's missing you don't get the souvenir.

There are ways around this.

You probably can get the souvenir if you delete one of your regular findlogs on one of the caches; and then relog that find.
