"Show Search Options" drop down selection for country / state issue

Used to be (like a few weeks ago) if you had a category selected and went into "Show Search Options" and clicked on a country, once one is selected the drop- down below it would go active and you could then select the sub region. For example, if I select "USA" I would immediately get the "States" drop down and could select the desired state. This no longer works; I must select USA, hit the  "Update" button, and then go back in to select the State. Is it just me or can others duplicate this issue?

I just tested this out with both my waymarks and all waymarks in two different categories and had no trouble selecting the country USA and then state.  Using Chrome. I suspect this is the same for everyone, but when I've helped people with this feature before, I always tell them to wait a few seconds cuz there's always a delay before the state option shows up.
