Log editor not showing bold or other settings

After I create a log with some text attributes like bold or cursive it shows beneath the log perfect. See image 1.

 

Do I go back to the cache's log listing everthing is gone. Means that for bold the text is showing **xxxx**. See image 2.

 

Tested in Edge, chrome, Firefox. Each browser is not showing bold. 

 

Any idea what's wrong here?

It seems that only complete words are accepted by the attributes. But sorry, that's markdown code and this should work with parts of words too, isn't it? Like, **H**ello **W**orld! That's BS, really. What kind of editor is chosen here.
