Do you have any amusing or interesting stories about the hunts you have been on?

 

Which has been your favourite cache hunt and why?

 

Personally, my faves so far are 'Lead Mines' by the Carney Family and 'Waterfalls Spectacular' by Matthew & Vincent.

 

Jason W and I got soaked to the skin during our hunt for the Lead Mines cache - which for some reason I thoroughly enjoyed .

Not only that but it was in a fab location and I really enjoyed the walk to it . "It can't be up here!!!" Brilliant hiding place!

 

After an uphill struggle to Waterfalls Spectacular I felt a sense of achievement when we found the ammo box! The weather held off for us and we sat by the first waterfall for a while. Wonderful scenery. Just wish we'd seen the easier path to the cache rather than climbing up a verticle scree slope Hope someone's removed that smelly dead sheep !

ord in geocaching circles?) The spot in question turned out to be a miltary base. I was 'escorted' off the premises by some nice MP's (not the Downing St type) in there landrovers. Practically followed me until I was back over the border into Scotland.

 

Next was my failed cache attempt in St Andrews. The one that looks over to RAF Leuchars! Maybe I shouldn't take so many pictures.

 

Anyone want to buy an eTrex?
