This is giving a lot of freedom for acceptance: from a single short sentence to the quotation of a complete web article. But this freedom makes it also (sometimes) very difficult for an officer to decide if the submitted article is good to fit the category - and removes a lever to deny a bad description. May also lead to fruitless (and sometimes needless) discussion and could give the impression of officer's arbitrariness.

Some waymarkers take the necessary time to research and write a good article, while others are content with a few words that barely describe the waymark. In my opinion (and experience) a single sentence does not describe a place or object properly, but I think that if an object is deemed worthy of inclusion in a country official database, it also deserves some research and respect.

What I really miss, is the need to credit the source of quoted text - if you copy from a web page, you should better tell, so that nobody can get sued for copyright infringement.

Erik.

P.S.: Just noticed, that the numbering is somehow incorrect  - you have the 3 two times:

Thank you Erik, yes I agree. My intention is to put complete Register to Waymarking. Most of them have a specific insignia and other markings so a photo of them should te enough. Description of each will have proper source attribution, because I was working on Register.

One more time we need to wait Peer review to have interesting comments.

When you do not have a discussion on the forum, everybody cry and vote Nay because there is no forum discussion and when we have a forum discussion, no one is able to contribute and help to improve the description

It's a pity...
