Guest Moss Trooper
Hi Fellow Geowhatsits. Bad news I'm afraid. I had a post on Georges Kidney Stone from davemc to say that they had tried to find the cache and were turned back by DEFRA officials. I checked out this map ( http://www.nnpa.org.uk/mapping/ ) and it has gone from being relativley clear in the Cheviot area to bad over a period of about 3 days. This has effectivley locked out Reivers Revenge, Georges Kidney Stone, Linhope Spout and Vindalander I will endevour to place some caches soon which will be semi urban/rural and I hope that the present restrictions will be dropped soon, but being realistic, I think they will be out of bounds for several months, if not up to the turn of the year. Guest jstead
Bad luck Moss. Let's hope the area gets over this before too many lose their livelihoods. We had planned to come last week to try for three of your caches but the F&M news and the weather forecast for Thursday put us off - just as well now it seems. ------------------ John Stead Quote Link to comment
