Route 66

Hello -  As  Brit geocacher I need some advice.  I turned 65 this year and set about my year-long bucket list of travel. I started the year watching the fireworks at New Year in Sidney Australia and worked my way across Asia

In June it is the turn of the US and we are renting an RV to drive the length of Route 66. We fly in Chicago O'hare from London and 3 weeks later fly out of LA

My question is, does anyone have a list of caches that are easy to do along the route?  I have had a look and it's a planning nightmare!!!. I could just look for caches as and when we stop but that does not give me time to work out any puzzle caches.  Any advice or lists would be just wonderful

You didn't respond to my message yet, but I bookmarked some of my favorite Rt 66 caches for you.

 

I would avoid Downtown Oklahoma City (which is south of Rt 66), in an RV!
