+Chris n Maria
A message from the TMA forum that I am happy to pass on... quote:Hi I was wondering if it was possible for you to post a message on your forum about the Thornborough campaign, as below. I know there are plenty of geocachers who really do care, and we'd be grateful if they could sign the online petition and pass the request to other friends, or perhaps even create a virtual cache to highlight the site. http://www.petitiononline.com/Pet10001/petition.html It's a lovely area with some interesting history, something many people appreciate and we hope to enable this to continue. thanks for any support .o0O0o. The triple henge complex at Thornborough, North Yorkshire is under imediate threat from quarrying. See - http://www.friendsofthornborough.org You can help prevent prevent these activities from destroying any further archaeology by signing our petition at: http://www.petitiononline.com/Pet10001/petition.html Hope this helps the campaign guys.
