+Hiemdahl Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 I will be at the Airshow this year. Any good caches in the immediate area? Hiemdahl Quote
dragonseeker Posted June 6, 2002 Posted June 6, 2002 Which airshow? And don't forget to come across the border to Wales!!! Quote
+Hiemdahl Posted June 7, 2002 Author Posted June 7, 2002 Farnborough, there is another one on the odd years, but I think it is somewhere on the continent, Quote
+Chris n Maria Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 I think thet is Fanborough hampshire. A list of local caches would be: Here I'd recommend any of the ones by Scotty - Cludo & tombraiderII. +jeremyp Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 Yes, it is Farnborough in Hampshire. I recommend the Cluedo series as a start. Then you can do Tombraider 1. In fact, if you have a car, there are a lot of caches in reasonable distance of Farnborough. The Airshow "on the continent" is Paris and Farnborough is not the only airshow in the UK. ------- jeremyp The second ten million caches were the worst too. http://www.jeremyp.net/geocaching Quote
+Hiemdahl Posted June 7, 2002 Author Posted June 7, 2002 OK, so much for my failed attempt at humor. The Paris Airshow is in the off-years but, they are the largest by far. The reason that I was checking-in was because my last Business/Geocaching trip was somewhat of a disaster. I located a cluster of caches in the Windsor area, made room reservations, bought the airline tickets, only to find all of the caches archived the week before I left. Hopefully, nothing of that sort of thing happens this year Quote
LazyLeopard Posted June 7, 2002 Posted June 7, 2002 Yeah, there's a Farnborough in Kent too, but the nearest thing it has to an airshow is at Biggin Hill, a few miles away, and that show was last weekend. Noisy round here, it was Purrs... LazyLeopard http://www.lazyleopard.org.uk Quote
