Quick, simple question guys, which type/make batt's for an eTrex? I'd especially like to know which ones you all use and have had best results with. The eTrex is arriving next week, can't wait! Cheers Will.

I have used Uniross on my Scanner before and they worked good. But how they'd go in a GPSR is another thing. Hey Monz, where do you get those batt's you mentioned? Cheers for quick responces guys.

Will.

I tend to buy whoever's alkalines are cheapest when I'm running low - and always buy in boxes rather than by the 'card' - last box I bought work out at 78p/4 batteries.

7dayshop is where they came from - but they usually take a week or so to come - so don't buy them there if you're in a rush icon_wink.gif

Ni-Cad rechargables do run out very quickly, so I use NiMH ones instead. They work well and last long enough even when used with digital cameras and pocket TVs. They cost a bit more, but they're worth having.
