Guest JasonW
As I placed the cache "Hail to thee, Blyth Spirit" I had this weird thought - where is the cache that is placed in the least appealing place to visit (in the UK) - that one has to be pretty close, being as it is at the back of the bauxite transfer docks in Blyth, Northumberland. The 'redeeming' feature are the wind turbines (including 2 out to sea) and the bird-life (the feathered variety not the sort that those of you with the more active imaginations may be associating with the docks). Can anyone beat this one or do I win £5 ? Quote Link to comment
Guest Roger_and_out
Northfleet in Kent has to be a contender for 'zit on the backside of Britain' award. Therefore a cache anywhere in Northfleet.. Quote Link to comment
Guest Kimrobin
Anywhere within 10 miles of Billingham. Alex. Quote Link to comment

Guest lathama
well birmingham only has my cache so it s pretty dull here! Quote Link to comment
Guest JasonW
Ah, but dull in that sense can easily be rectified by you and other cachers - it would take a tactical nuclear strike to beautify North Blyth (and for that matter Billingham) Quote Link to comment

Something to do with having a life outside geocaching, and it being the thick end of 200 miles south of me (straight line, substantially more by road) and a direction I try to avoid travelling in at all costs Quote Link to comment
