Geocaching HQ is making an ongoing effort to create a consistent player experience across Geocaching.com.
Today, we begin releasing a new geocache and trackable logging experience. We will gradually release this new experience to all players over the next few weeks.
This latest web release creates a consistent experience across the following aspects:

I worked around it by importing to GIMP, then exporting. This report from GIMP might be a clue:
