Send adoption request button not highlighted

Is anyone else experiencing difficulty sending an adoption request. I have been trying for some time now but the "send adoption request " button does not become highlighted.

After placing the username, don't forget to press "Go".

On the next page, write the reason for adoption, and press "Send Adoption Request", even not highlighted.

I just used this feature and didn't see any issues.

We too are having issues sending adoption notices for Going Caching Cache-Cards to some geonicknames. Some are going through fine, while others are not recognized and the "Send Adoption Request" button does not become active. We are able to type in the geonickname in the "Find Another Player" feature and view their profile but, even after copying and pasting from there back into the Adoption form, it still is not recognized as a valid geonick. Hope this clears up soon!

I have tried that numerous times and it is still not working.  Thanks anyway. 🤔

We are trying to send an adoption request to mrsmac914 but the adoption form does not recognize her geonick although we can view her profile using the "Find another player" function.

When I went to her profile and tried to send an email just to see if I got an error message, this is what popped up:
