Email notifications of messages received

I am no longer getting an email notification when I have been sent a message.

I have my preferences set to 30 mins after messaging inactivity ( as I used to get bombarded with emails every time I have an ongoing conversation in messaging) but seems now I'm not getting any notifications at all

Anyone else having this issue

Is this a known glitch. Do I have to amend preferences?

How odd - no replies to this post - so no idea if I am the only one with this issue  but in particular from a lackey acknowledging the issue or advising that it isnt a general glitch

However today I got an email advising that I had a message !!!!

Seems like it was only me  - and its all working again

I reported the same problem quite some time back and, if my memory serves me correctly, a lackey said that the "notification after 30 minutes of inactivity" setting doesn't work reliably and to only use "send a notification every time". I've been trying unsuccessfully to find the thread this was in.

That is odd as I found that feature worked fine for me - when I had it turned off I was getting an email sent every time a message was received - so during a back and forth, email after email just saying you have a message - I discovered that feature and since then the only emails were from 'new' messages and none during convos (until the reent issue - but that is sorted now too.
