Hide a Geocache function no longer working on the GC website!?

Since yesterday, and despite multiple repeated attempts reloading the page and rebooting my PC, I have been unable to get past the first Type & Location stage of the process of preparing a hide for submission. Having selected the Type (Traditional or Multi) and entered coordinates, nothing happens! The map is greyed out, no cache locations are shown and the Continue button does not turn green to allow continuation to the next step.

 

Any ideas on how to fix this rather fundamental problem?

Have you tried logging out and back in?

Yes I tried that and rebooted and tried again - still not working

I just went past that step with no problem.
 

Making sure the coordinates are correctly written is the only thing that comes to mind.
