Top Ten Tourist Caches (North Island)

Hi All,

I will be visiting NZ for the International Map Trade Association conference in Wellington next week and then taking a weeks holiday touring around North Island.

I won't be able to spend the whole time geocaching as, unfortunately, my partner has a limited tolerance for our game- small doses are OK, but not too much.

Therefore I am seeking your recommendations for the top ten tourist caches. You know, the ones that I should really try to bag in a limited time. Our travel plans are fairly flexible but certainly include Taupo, Rotorua, Waitomo, probably Auckland but probably not Bay of Islands.

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

Ok, really easy ones I could reccomend would be:

The Huka Falls

Kerosine Creek

Death In Vegas

Okere Falls

Arapuni Power

Rotoroa

Aukland Stash

Red Box II

zuhe gongju

If you wife could handle a nice wander in a nice area, consider:

Lake view

Clean green wonderland - Ngongataha

Te Waihou walk
