Does any one else have a Etrex?

I am looking for someone else in the Auckland area who has an Etrex and the cable for firmware upgrades. Would like to upgrade as soon as possible.

Hi, Yep I have an Etrex and the cable but I am in Whangarei.

However I am visiting AK Thursday and Friday this week.

No luck yet? Well I'm not from the Auckland area, but maybe I can help.

 

If your not afraid of a soldering iron, then you can do what I did and order an eTrex plug from Pfranc Bruce for a pledge of about $20 (visit http://pfranc.com/cgi-bin/pub/c_nz?pid=Pplug and http://garmin.com/support/faqs/1.html), I think he might even be able to make you a cable for much less than Garmin.
