Message Center 'button' or link missing

I remember searching a few months ago for my 'messages' when I couldn't find them. At the time I stumbled onto the forum with a lot of discussion about the problem, but not a solution.

Over time (and from experience with a few other websites) I tried hovering my cursor where the 'message center' should be....and it appeared. I have seen this issue with sites on Safari and it goes away with Chrome, but I don't use Chrome.

Anyway, I thought I would post a 'it is there, but invisible' to some of us. Kind of like looking for a Cache...

 

Also, re: the message center being blank. I also get this and have to do a "command R" , and wait. It comes up eventually with messages.

I have this problem only with my Ipad, when I use the website, on my windows computer everything is fine (first picture).

But on Ipad, the button is hidden, but you can use it, if you tip at the exact place where the button must be.

This means, the button ist there, but you can't see it, because it is green on green. (Second Picture taken after tipping a few seconds at the place, then the button becomes a light green quarter.)

Me too. And then I have to refresh once I open the message center, because it’s also blank until I do. This has been happening for a long time.

Has this problem been seen by HQs It by now? It is still annoying. MacOS 13.2.1 with Safari Version 16.3., but is anging for at least half a year now.
Works fine on Chrome and Firefox though, but MacAddicts don't like those browsers.

And the second bug ( having always to refresh the page to see the messages, also!!)

I just posted about this myself prior to seeing your post.  Yes, I now have no icon for messages.

The message centre link / icon no longer appears in mobile browser (chrome or safari on iOS). Still appears on desktop.

 

This makes it more difficult to communicate with other players.

Would the GC web team mind looking into this?

On the Dashboard page, the icon for my Messages page has disappeared from the navigation bar!

If I run my finger over the place where it used to be, to the left of the picture I use, a light square briefly appears and a link takes me to my messages. But without the icon, I don’t know if I have any new messages. And I just discovered by chance that I can still navigate to the Message page.

I got a bug with my message center icon. Since around a week it permanently indicates "new/unread message" = yellow dot top/right. But there is no new message. I do not know why it is like that or how i can fix it. Does anybody have the same?

Since Keystone merged this (IMHO not much to the OP related bug report) I would also like to report this "not disappearing yellow dot"-bug. It's unrealated to the browser or operating system.

The dot appeared some months ago by receiveing two identical messages from the other party. In the mean time I had a few other conversations in the message center but the dot keeps visible in the browser on top and also (in blue but only close by the avatar of that party) in the GC-App.

When I enter the app, the icon for the message center does not pop up, only the yellow dot. How do I fix this? I can get into the message app just fine but the icon is missing.
