GeoDashing

Well, it looks as if Team Kiwi is second at the moment. November has been a hard month for a lot of us I suspect but December is fast approaching and I think we have a chance to kick *** here. Remember, it is now mid-winter in the USA and they will be less likely to be dashing, well, I hope!

Anyway, looking forward to seeing the new co-ords for Dec and lets see if we can take it this time!

I agree. I was hoping to be able to spend more time hunting Geocaches and doing Geodashing this month, but circumstances have conspired against me.

I made up 15 geocaches to put in initially in this greater area, I've nearly finished, but trouble is, I can't make up my mind which sites, there are so many. In fact I've literally drawn locations out of a bowl on more than one occasion when I haven't been able to make up my mind.

December, a month of holidays and relaxation, albeit too comercialised. I think we will have a much better shot this month. I'll be finished placing my initial run of geocaches and will be looking closely at the whole north islands caches and dashpoints.

I bet I won't be the only one with more time up their sleeve. Now if we can just lock that darn Bob away in a cupboard somewhere. Hopefully that won't be neccessary next month icon_wink.gif.

Well, I've spend a bit of time looking over the North Island Game 6 points. I've loaded them into NZ Mapped and if anyone wishes, e-mail me and I can send you the POI file to save you putting them in yourselves.

Perhaps it wouldn't be too silly an idea to post our intentions, or perhaps just e-mail them amoungst the team (For team strategic reasons), so we can try to cover a larger range of points. I know I'd try a bit harder for a more difficult one, and avoid an easier one if I knew someone else will be trying for it.

My difficult attempt for this game will be GD6-31031, it involves a long tramp in and out, but a very enjoyable one at that! icon_biggrin.gif

I'm just registering a Yahoo! Groups thingy for us, as this might be the best way to achieve it, and we use yahoo groups for geodashing anyway, so everyone should know how it works.

UPDATE: OK its created, and everyone should have gotten an email inviting them to join the group icon_smile.gif

Cheers Gav
