Guest nz_etrex
Has anyone else here hunted for or found any overseas caches yet? I have checked out 2 in Australia and plan to check out a fair few during my Europe travels next year. Post your experiences here. Quote Link to comment
Guest rediguana
Yep, done a few in Australia, both around Melbourne and Sydney. Was a lot of fun, and it was interesting in that a lot of them are buried caches, although not covered except for sticks - which took a little getting used to for starters. Managed to do one of the Planet of the Ape caches as well. It was placed only a few days before I got to Melbourne I really enjoyed the King of the World cache in Sydney, that was loads of fun and had a fantastic view! Haven't seen any snakes yet, but have seen a few spiders and rock ledges Cheers Gav NSW http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=82 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=3074 Victoria http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=1901 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=3386 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=1283 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/pota_details.asp?id=4184 (Planet of the Apes) http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=173 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=3202 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=925 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=272 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=4536 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=1934 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=2634 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=3236 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=246 http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=1555 (Couldn't find) [This message has been edited by rediguana (edited 22 September 2001).] Quote Link to comment
