+BigNick Posted August 26, 2002 Posted August 26, 2002 Wow, there is actually quite a lot of GPSr on trademe at the moment - wish there was when I wanted to buy my GPS. Garmin 12 (as endorced by tgsnoopy) Trimble Scoutmaster Casio GPS Watch GPS Chartplotter (ok, this is not really suitable for geocaching, but if you could get land maps, it would be cool for in the car, look here) Nick. +BigNick Posted August 29, 2002 Posted August 29, 2002 Congrats - I thought about bidding for it, but then thought that Bernadette would kill me if I bought something else expensive without telling her (I just got a 128Mb SD card for my camera ) Cheers Nick. Quote

+tgsnoopy Posted August 30, 2002 Author Posted August 30, 2002 Nick, I hope you bought your digital cameras memory card from design design on TradeMe, I just received another 64M SM Card & a USB SM Card Reader I ordered on Monday from him, excellent service and at the best price I could find too. LOL, I'm plugging someone again I'm pleased to hear of the successful GPS12 purchase as well If we all let each other know of these good deals and save some money it's all good. Quote

+BigNick Posted August 30, 2002 Posted August 30, 2002 No, I actually got it trade from one of the wholesalers where I buy my computer parts for work - though saying that, by the time you add GST onto my price, I am not saving much over design_design's prices. (a camera that used CF cards rather than SD cards would have made the transaction a lot cheaper - thats a tip for anyone planning on buying a digital camera) Cheers Nick. Quote
+tgsnoopy Posted September 12, 2002 Author Posted September 12, 2002 This one sounds pretty good, a new GPS12 going well below retail with full warranty. If you are in the market for a good GPS watch this auction: http://www.trademe.co.nz/nz-auctions/1797428.htm Quote
