Bug in Editing Solved Coordinates

[Solved!] There were spaces in-between the numbers.

When I try to update the solved coordinates of cache GC6M1Z3, they get changed by about 13km. Never had this before. See video for reference.

I also tried editing the coordinates with ° and ' as seen in the reference line above the edit, website throws a message that it can't interpret it. That's it's own format!.

I only have Edge on Windows 11, but as I said before, I used that edit feature like 100 times before, never failed. Either new bug or cache-specific. Or something else entirely...

You have spaces to the right of the decimal point in the minutes of both latitude and longitude that you are pasting. What happens when you remove those?

With Fluffy-voice: "HAMN!" (Not allowed to write it with D) 🤦🏻‍♂️ If you look on an issue for too long. Thanks, mate!

Still wonder, why the edit allowed that. It could have yelled from format on me or so. Still wonder what numerical value it assumed for the spaces.

Case closed, big thanks to Moun10Bike

It interpreted your coordinates as DMS (degrees, minutes, and seconds). But, it failed to check if the seconds were reasonable (ie. in the range 0 to 60) -- it just carried over to the minutes.

For example, notice that 11' 569" = (11 + 569/60)' = 20.483 and 12' 091" = (12 + 091/60)' = 13.516, which is a shift that matches what you see. [I've changed the numbers by ~1/10 of a minute to prevent spoilers - I think the coordinates you gave in the video are final coordinates? Edit those out!]

Yeah, thought about the spoiler part, too. But someone who find this in the video via search in Google, navigating the forum... maybe they earned it, too. 😜 Anyways, now that the mystery on that mystery is solved, I guess I can simply delete the entire video and be done with it.
