+barefootjeff
I was given a Community Celebration Event at the beginning of 2020, which was published and had 13 people log Will Attends before it was retracted. With the deadline looming, I've resubmitted it for publication but was wondering what I should do with those old WA logs. Will they be automatically deleted when the reviewer republishes it or should I do that myself? And if the latter, what's the best way to communicate what I'm doing to the deletees since deleting a log doesn't allow any explanation to be added? Quote Link to comment
+lee737
I would post a social media message explaining (would probably get to most people), and put a write note on the cache page as well, then delete away.... Quote Link to comment
+lee737
Even better would be if HQ allowed you to archive it, and start afresh with a new GC code.... 1 Quote Link to comment

Yep, although there's a few who aren't in the local social media groups. I was thinking to maybe wait until it's published, then post an Announcement which ought to go to all the WA loggers before deleting them. 1 3 Quote Link to comment
+lee737
You're an ideas man Jeff, I hadn't thought of an announcement.... Edited October 21, 2022 by lee737 1 Quote Link to comment
+terratin
I logged a WA on one such event and then moved away. When it was published again the owner made an announcement that they will delete all old logs and people should log a new WA. Was clear and easy. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+barefootjeff
My event has just been republished (GC8HKP7) and the reviewer wiped all the old logs in the process. 1 1 Quote Link to comment
