+Olar
I am very shocked over this Columbia shuttle tragedy and have been watching CNN for many hours with great interest and sadness. Like most cachers I have been curious about caches that may be in the debris search area. I discovered this radar image link in this discussion thread. I overlayed caches on the radar image and also downloaded caches to this MS Streets & Trips map. As you can see there are approx. 9 either in or near the trail. +mrcpu
Great job! Did you cross post this to the General forum? I'm sure our American Cousins would find it interesting. The thought actually occured to me that someone could start a locationless cache for shuttle debris...NOT as a scavenger hunt, but as a way to track the debris and where it landed with Lat/long. I'm sure NASA has their own database anyways. Cheers, Rob Mobile Cache Command Quote Link to comment
+MedicP1
Funny how many minds think alike, and how we try to find ways to further the Geocaching image and/or better our surroundings through our hobby. Here is a link to prove that very point. GPSr's...A step in the right direction! Quote Link to comment
