E-Trex upgrade

I have had two E-Trex GPSrs and both had the power button fail.  I need to get a new GPSr, so what is the next level up, one which doesn't have early-fail power buttons.

If it had to be an eTrex, Garmin now only produces and offers the 22x and 32x variants. 

 

The eTrex Touch is similar in size and requires far less button pressing,  but you will have to find one that is remaining new stock or used. 

 

Or you can move up to a larger GPSMAP device,  available in 64x, 65s, and 66sr variants.

you have the option to repair with plastic, as I did (picture) and it works

 

you have the option to buy a touch 25, like I did. Yes, Touch screen, only one button but it spends a lot of battery and does not guide to the GC well
Perhaps the best GPS is the GSmap

I looked at the GPSMap and eventually decided to go for the 32X.  I know my way around the E-Trex series and that helped the decision.
