+Gill & Tony
I have had two E-Trex GPSrs and both had the power button fail. I need to get a new GPSr, so what is the next level up, one which doesn't have early-fail power buttons. Advice please Tony Quote Link to comment
+Atlas Cached
If it had to be an eTrex, Garmin now only produces and offers the 22x and 32x variants. The eTrex Touch is similar in size and requires far less button pressing, but you will have to find one that is remaining new stock or used. Or you can move up to a larger GPSMAP device, available in 64x, 65s, and 66sr variants. Many options here. Edited September 8, 2022 by Atlas Cached Fix auto correct mistakes Quote Link to comment
+montjuïc
you have the option to buy the power button https://www.ebay.es/itm/333057897681?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=1185-53479-19255-0&campid=5338748321&toolid=20006&customid=W-LZS_ARA you have the option to repair with plastic, as I did (picture) and it works you have the option to buy a touch 25, like I did. Yes, Touch screen, only one button but it spends a lot of battery and does not guide to the GC well Perhaps the best GPS is the GSmap Quote Link to comment
+Gill & Tony
Thans to you both for your advice I looked at the GPSMap and eventually decided to go for the 32X. I know my way around the E-Trex series and that helped the decision. Thanks again Tony 2 Quote Link to comment
