Caches in BC, preferably around Burnaby

Hi, I'm new to this game. I was wondering if anyone knows any caches in British Columbia, preferably in and around Burnaby. Thanks!!

You can always check the GeoCaching website for BC Caches. So far (as of today) there is only the cache in Vancouver. I will be placing a cache at french beach on Vancouver Island later in the spring, but until then, I urge those looking for caches to place one of their own. Sometimes it takes some initiative to get the sport rolling.

 

Be careful however... Make sure that your caches are reachable. Until the sport gains enough players, the ability to find a cache will dictate how many get interested.

 

A cache that requires GPS / Orienteering / 4x4 will get many fewer visits than a cache off a public trail that only requires a GPS.

 

We would love to see caches popping up all over BC, just keep in mind the intended visitors.

Well, be careful their about those "hard to find" caches! If in doubt, make two! Make the good one that will be more difficult to find and the easier one. Once the easier one is found, folks might be more tempted in going out to find the more difficult one. Just an idea!

If you go to the main page, you will see search by country box, Select Canada, click GO You can click on BC and get all 586 caches sorted by date placed OR click on Canada map, Zoom in will be selected, click on BC, click on BC again, now keep on clicking on southern BC until you just have the lower mainland caches showing, now select the IDENTIFY button and click on a cache icon, the name of the cache will appear on the map along with a link below to the cache description.....Hope this helps you R

Burnaby has a few caches, not too many, but a few.

 

There are many caches around the Greater Vancouver area. Look on my 'found' list for 'Four Capitol Views',and then look at 'nearby caches'.
