+FLUMMOXEDøAARDVARK
I'm moving to Ceres, CA within the next year. Does anyone know of any existing geocaching clubs in Ceres, Stanislaus County or the broader San Joaquin Valley? Thanks in advance! Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I moved this thread of local interest from the Geocaching Topics forum. Quote Link to comment
+Wacka
On Facebook there is a Central Valley Cachers group that covers Ceres,Turlock, Modesto and many other towns.Even though I haven't lived in CA for 8 years I still am a member of that group. It is a private group, so if you are interested, send me a line and i will send you an invite. Quote Link to comment
+wjrgeocaching79
As I have found no active geocaching organization in the valley, I have begun the process to create one and have a FB group for it. Check it out: https://www.facebook.com/groups/centralvalleygeocaching Please, if I missed one, speak up, make your local group known. Thank you. Quote Link to comment

It's good to see some new interest in keeping the CVC active. It had heritage back to the first year of Geocaching and at one time (early on) had the top two Cachers, battling for finds. That was well before Team Alamo (aka Alamogal) went full throttle. Anyway, I’ve fallen off the radar in CVC for the most point because: I don’t do Facebook (you have read just how invasive Mark gets, haven’t you? If not, read the required agreement you made!), and I sold the farm and got out of California (I’m a Refuge from the Left State). Caching full time now in Idaho, but I still know a few things about CVC's history. Quote Link to comment
