Geocache Poem

[allwalk]

This is a poem modifed by my wife. I thought you all may like to read it. It will accompany any geocaches that we may hide.

 

Inside this plastic container

Please place something dear

To give to a special friend

Whether far or near

 

Once the container is opened

It must be filled once more

Then put back were it came from

According to folklore

 

From one friend to another

This gift of treasure extends

Creating an unbreakable attachment

Between our circle of friends

Oh geez, don't do that ! You'll get posts from folks critiquing/debating everything from spelling, to punctuation, to point of origin, to whether or not 'poetry' is an environmentally friendly cache item (according to a previous forum poll, it all depends on the type of paper you write it on )!
