+GroundClutter
I'm just wonderin... Did anyone else purchase a Garmin GPS and send in the $50 US rebate coupon? Did you actually get your rebate? I sent mine in May, and still nothing. Am I dreaming that I will see it? "You are cleared for geocaching." Quote Link to comment
Peregrine007
Got mine, even though I had to doctor a receipt to get it ;-). That was quite a while ago though... I'd give them a call and start whining. Quote Link to comment
+Team Giblert
Yup - got mine no problem. Quote Link to comment
The Big Kid
Got mine no problem, worked out to $81 cdn, made the package deal quite cheap. Quote Link to comment
+GroundClutter
I bought mine from GPS Central. I had the coupon, the UPC, the receipt, the serial number, and I mailed it in on May 21. Trouble is, I didn't photocopy the back of the rebate coupon, so I don't have the contact info. So does anyone know how I would go about finding where my rebate is? PS I bought mine for $334. I notice on the GPS Central price is now $254. Sheesh...the difference a few months make eh? Ok, I've sent GPSCentral an e-mail. I know it's not their prob, but maybe they can offer advice. +Solar Max
I got two rebates, one for each Garmin, both in December, arrived in January. How much intelligence does it take to sneak up on a piece of tupperware? Quote Link to comment
+GroundClutter
Just a follow up. I received a message from Garmin today. They say that my rebate was mailed on Aug 27th, and they apologize for any inconvenience. Cool. Better not have a September 3rd post mark on it though. Wonder why mine took so long?! Will come in handy for our trip to Oregon next week though. Thanks for your posts everyone! "You are cleared for geocaching." Quote Link to comment
+moule
Got my rebate in the mail today. It came postmarked from Arizona. I guess Garmin was waiting till after the August deadline before sending out the rebates. Quote Link to comment
+fizbot
Got mine yesterday, after 3 months of waiting. These rebate people aren't dumb. They try to keep your money for as long as they can so that they can get the interest off it. Quote Link to comment
peetz
Well after waiting and waiting i phoned the number on the rebate,,,, and they had no info on me. So I had to resend my rebate to another address,,,,, my only problem was I hadn't photo copied the bar code,,, so they told me as it was a secound send I could send a photo copy. I went to canadian tire and had no problem getting a photo copy from another gps. I still haven't got it but this time when I called they told me my check would be mailed sept 15th. The adress i had to resend to was... TCA rebate resolution 145 Huguenot Street st 105 Rochell NY 10802 Quote Link to comment
naturenerd
It took forever for my rebate to come. It must have been at least 5 or 6 months. Just when I was about to give up, it arrived that day. Maybe yours is 'in the mail'. Quote Link to comment
+GroundClutter
Yep, finally got it! Holy samolie that took a long time. Exchanged into about $63. I made the mistake of looking at what a Garmin Legend costs now. Ugghh...it's come down $100 since March! "You are cleared for geocaching." Quote Link to comment
