Hunting season in Nova Scotia

Hunting season has just started and I was wondering if other cachers are still out in the woods or do you only cache on Sundays?

I think we will get decked out with hunter orange and hit the safer wooded areas.

I hate to waste beautiful fall?? (feels like summer still) days like today.

I usually don't worry about it too much. I do where a blaze orange cap when I'm in the bush but caches around here are in parks or close to major access roads which are not favoured by hunters.

 

The two activities are not mutually exclusive and I've recently combined both types of hunting on a remote cache.

Since I usually go out with a few kids, I am making sure the caches I go to are not too far into the woods or can be found in parks. I'm waiting until hunting season is over.
