What is the Best GPS Unit or Smartphone for Geocaching?

What is the Best GPS Unit or Smartphone for Geocaching? Is it all comes down to personal choice or is there a standout device that is better than others? I use a Garmin 688 and a Samsung S8 and I find that those two are very good for my Geocaching needs.  Please share your opinions.

There is no best. To me it's just personal preference, whatever works for you.

I've used e-trex 30/30x/32x hand helds and find them accurate and affordable.  The only problem I've had is that the on/off button wears out after about 5-6 years of use, by which time the technology has improved anyway.
