How to delete a trackable

A few months ago we got a trackable decal for the back of our Jeep.  Not long after, we traded it in for a different one. We couldn't move the trackable decal to the new Jeep so we bought a new one. We locked the old one, but it still shows up on our list every time we log a cache. Is there a way to delete a trackable that's no longer available? I don't even need to keep it around to look at the logs since we got rid of it fairly soon after we activated it.

Mark it Collectible.

Place it into your Collection.

Now it won’t show in your inventory when you log a cache.

I agree that ku's suggestion is the best suggestion, but just FYI, another route to removing from inventory is to visit the trackable page, and use the drop down menu on the right side to Mark Missing. You must "confirm" this. Moves it to an Unknown location, (which is true in fact) and out of inventory.

Sorry, I disagree. Which way you go depends on the reason that the TB is 'unavailable'. Marking it as 'Missing' is an indication that its status and location is unknown, not that the TO has made it available for logging, which is the case here. As you say, Kunarion's suggestion is the right one, and reflects reality.
