First cache finds

I was a meeting the other night and someone was asking in our Scout Group what happen to our 14th Humber West cache.

I told them we had removed it as it was only a summer project last year.

But when I was reading the logs I was surprised to see how many of the cachers here started caching around that time like me.

Just a note to say happy caching birthday to all of us that started in the spring and summer of 2001.

To Olar you found your first cache 1 year ago on june 9.

My goodness has it been 1 year already? Happy Birthday back to you gm100guy. There are so many good things about this sport that its impossible to lose interest in it. I hope all you 1-year old veterans are still as gung-ho as I am.

Cache-on and enjoy, Olar

Ya, Hard to believe its been over a year for me.

When I first became a member, back in the good'o days, there were no caches near me. I hid my first cache and waited, and waited. It was over a month before anyone found it. A geocache popped up across the river, on the USA side. It was my first find. What memories.

Happy Anniversary to all fellow yearlings.
