+PDOP's
Canadian Geograophic is selling off their remaining copies of the NaviTrak Topographical Mapping CDs for $4.95. The titles for sale include the West Coast Trail, Banff National Park, Bruce Peninsula and Kejimkujik & Cape Breton. These are seamless maps (like SoftMap) complete with software for printing, a place name look up feature and a basic GPS interface. I have the Banff CD and the maps are older maps (all NAD27) but are of equal quality to the SoftMap Topo50 product. The software also offers altitude profiling of routes which is handy in the mountains PDOP's GPS Pages [This message was edited by PDOP's on April 25, 2003 at 04:26 PM.] Quote Link to comment

+Cache Test Dummy
Many thanks to PDOP's. Based on this tip, and a previous post regarding discount copies of Fugawi, I appear to be in your debt (A LOT)! As a displaced flatlander myself, let me know if the East Coast can ever do you a favour! illegitimus nil carborundum Quote Link to comment

+StAlbert4
Yes, thanks for pointing it out. I've ordered the West coast Trail & Baniff. At that price, how can you go wrong....
