Geocaching and Macintosh

Hey,CTD- Nice to hear from you!

In the year and a half I have been geocaching, I could only watch in envy as my PC counterparts uploaded, downloaded and plotted waypoints on scanned aerial photos and topo maps. I seriously thought about Virtual PC but held off. Only last week things started to change. I made the data cable for my Magellan 315, bought a Keyspan adapter which allows me to connect the GPSr to the USB port on my Mac. I bought MacGPSPro which is like OziExplorer and only yesterday downloaded Mac SimpleGPS, which is similar to EasyGPS. Now...to make all this work.

Thanks for the note and the help with SRR cache back in January.

Argus2, not sure about your side of the map but out west we are fortunate to have a company called Spectrum Digital Imaging. They have quite a catalog of digital maps, again I am not sure if they go as far east as you are, which are usable on both platforms. Now if OziExplorer was available for both platforms it would be a perfect world.
