+Pharisee
Hi, Guys… I’d like a crack at the Where’s in a Name? virtual cache (GC3153) and to do it, I’m going to need some help. The first 6 characters of my user name ‘Pharisee’ converts to 74 27.47 which is a bit limiting as a latitudes 74 degrees N or S are well inside the Arctic / Antarctic circles and geocachers are a bit thin on the ground. Longitude 74 degrees E runs through central Russia, Kashmir and India so I don’t hold out much hope there either. My best chance is Longitude 74 degrees W that runs down the eastern edge of Canada and the extreme north east of the US. So… if there’s any geocacher living up in the top, right hand corner of the New World who can help out a geocacher from the Old by taking a photo of their GPSr showing a longitude reading between W74 27.470 and W74 27.479 could they drop me an e-mail or post a reply here, we could both claim a find. Conversely… I live very close to the Greenwich Meridian at N52 W00 and if I can help out anyone in the same way, then drop me an email as well. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks in anticipation of a little help, John [This message was edited by Pharisee on January 16, 2003 at 02:15 AM.] Quote Link to comment
