+ScroogieII
A great part of Waymarking is dependent upon the inclusion of photos with each and every Waymark submitted for approval by category officers. As I review the Waymarks which fall into my review queue I daily lament on the quality, or lack thereof, of the photos which are included, that is UNTIL I encounter yet another submission from nomadwillie. Bill has taken it upon himself to treat his photos as artworks, taking raw photos from the camera and passing them through image processing software to magically change the mundane into the beautiful. I'm not about to suggest that each Waymarker take the time and trouble to accomplish what Bill undertakes on a daily basis, but I can't help believing that just a rudimentary tweaking could accomplish immense benefit in improving image quality in photos submitted, especially with regard to clarity and brightness . I, myself, have invested great amounts of time in the enhancement of photos I've submitted throughout my Waymarking career, still failing to quite achieve the heights achieved by Bill, but I keep trying. Check out one of his pages and look at his photos below, then ask yourself, "Couldn't I at least attempt to aspire to such quality?" Edited April 23, 2022 by ScroogieII 1 1 Quote Link to comment
+ScroogieII
I happened to drop by this thread again today and was particularly smitten by the qualities of this image. I'll never see the like of it again, by any Waymarker, unless it should be nomadwillie. Edited May 31, 2022 by ScroogieII Quote Link to comment
