NGS in Canada

Hi there! Down south, in the states, we are trtying to get all the National geodectic Survey Benchamarks into our database. So far, the U.S.A. has given us all the information they can. Unfortunetly, the Canadian goverment has not. Can any of you good Geocachers in Canada get the coordinates of the NGS Benchmarks in your country? If so, we can add them to the database!Or, do you any of you know where I can look online? Please let me know, thanx! Team Sandrich jamiewrich@hotmail.com

Database access for these things is available but limited. You need to print out a form, mail it in, and they will give you access.

Near as I can tell, on the old topo maps the benchmarks, noted as "BM1234" etc., are just vertical levels at that concrete bridge or culvert at that particular location - and there isn't any plate or triangle marker.
