Tedoca
Hi all, Does anyone have any recommendations for good caches hidden in/near Belleville? Within say, a 100 Km radius? We'll be visiting Canada at the end of this month. Thanks! Happy caching, Tedoca Quote Link to comment
yorelken
Belleville, ON is at N44 09.744 W77 23.149. Go to the search site and key in the coordinates and there seem to be lots. Haven't been there though. Quote Link to comment
mrcpu
Fristly, go buy a copy of MS Streets and Trips 2002, second go to http://ian.kenetic.com/ and get an import file for ALL of Canada. Select Bellville and do your search out to 80Km. cheers, Rob Mobile Cache Command Quote Link to comment
park2
We did ths one a couple weeks ago, easy but scenic terrain, about 75 km West. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=13906 The S&T file mentioned above is a text file that can be imported into other programs besides S&T. Ian also has one set up for Ozi if you're using that. Have Fun! Quote Link to comment
Tedoca
Thanks for the recommendation Park2. To mrcpu and yorelken, thanks for your suggestions but maybe I didn't word my question properly... I've no problems locating caches near Belleville... what I was looking for were personal recommendations from local area cachers for caches you have actually hunted that you found to be particularly enjoyable. Happy caching, Tedoca Quote Link to comment

TheGertridgeExplorers
One of my favorites so far has been: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.asp?ID=11897 It is about 20-30 min north of Belleville. The drive between Belleville and Marmora is nice and it is an interesting spot. Marmora is a quaint little village. I also agree that "Wooded Waterfront" is a nice cache.
