boreal jeff & sons
I found this cache today. A bear had trashed the cache. I think it was after the bees wax candles because there was nothing else that could of interested it. So the point is, think about what you put in a cache. Things, we may not think are edible, make tasty treats for animals that will stop at nothing to get them. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?id=69553 Every hour spent geocaching is added to the end of your life Quote Link to comment

+bcrockcrawler, xstitcher, & BMXer
It's a known fact that bears, for some reason, will chew on plastic. They don't need to have the smell of food to tweak their intrest. I've seen plastic gas gans and a plastic settling pond liner chewed on by a grizzly. Remeber not to smell like tupperware while your out there.... We live on a rock, ergo we rockcrawl....... Quote Link to comment
cachewidow
They have also developed a taste for gore-tex around the small kayaker-frequented islands around the north island area. Just the sound of the hulls scraping up on the beach brings them running. It's not difficult to meet demands; just turn around and there they are. Quote Link to comment
