It is a really slow Saturday in the mapshop so following on from rebobbitt's post in the general discussion area here are the participation statistics for Oz.

Cache count as of this morning, population as of Jacaranda Primary Atlas.

Population per cache.

1. SA 23caches, 1 per 63,903 people

2. NSW 47caches, 1 per 128,754 people

3. Tas 3caches, 1 per 157,452 people

4. Vic 27caches, 1 per 165,781 people

5. NT 1 cache, 1 per 171,134 people

6. Qld 16caches, 1 per 199,808 people

7. ACT 1 cache, 1 per 300,912 people

8. WA 2caches, 1 per 850,395 people

 

Cache density

ACT 1 per 2,400sqkm; Vic 1:8,430sqkm;

NSW 1:17,055sqkm; Tas 1:22,600sqkm;
