Forrie Posted June 24, 2002 Share Posted June 24, 2002 While looking through the australian sites i noticed one that was in a proetected area in which i manage. Not that i have a problem with this but no one came and talked with me about this first. I suggest that australians need to be aware that the laws governing porteced areas are no diffrent here as in the USA so take the time to talk to the ranger in charge of the area that you want to place your geocache, before you do. Our proetced areas are great places for this sport if it is done right and with respect for the local enviroment. Happy hunting.
