+AlternateRoute
Hi all, I was looking at "Lane Cove" the first geocache in Australia and saw the reference to the concern from National Parks because it had been placed in an environmentally sensitive area. I contacted the ranger mentioned in the logs and had a long chat with him about making geocachers aware of the possible environmental impact of the sport and coming up with a set of guidlines for placing caches in National Parks. I suggested to him that some time in the near future, we might have an event cache which could be attended by local geocachers, as well as Bruce and some other NPWS staff. Please get back to me with feedback on this idea.(alternateroute@optushome.com.au) Quote Link to comment
