+baer2006
When I select an AL waypoint to navigate to it, and then click on the "compass" icon on the to right, I get the direction and heading of the destination, and its coordinates. The latter could be a useful feature, if you want to copy the coordinates into some other navigation app or device. The coordinate format looks like DD°MM.mmm (degrees and decimal minutes). To my surprise, when I do that for the first location of my own AL, it says: N48°26.000 E11°67.015. 67 minutes ??? Actually, the location is at N48.26000° E11.67015°, which is of course not the same. I regularly shake my head at newbies (or even experienced cachers, who really should know better), who have no idea what the numbers in e.g. N48°12.345 actually mean, or call the decimal minutes "seconds", or are completely lost, when they have to convert e.g. DD°MM'SS.S'' to degrees and decimal minutes. But software developers (and testers) at GS?? 1 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
I would like to say again that I love the visual display of that compass screen! It works well for people with low vision. Good job! 1 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
The issue appears to be fixed. Thanks, Groundspeak! Quote Link to comment
