+geotracters Posted April 1, 2022 Share Posted April 1, 2022 (edited) Found a trackable (TB3ET1W) today on a random branch while looking for a spot to hide a cache, logged that I took the cache and realized that it was last logged in 2012 (probably because the place I found it was about 500m or so from the now-archived cache). Is this a new record for the longest time that a trackable hasn't been found for? I would really like to know, thanks! +TriciaG Posted April 1, 2022 Share Posted April 1, 2022 Cool find! So many trackables are lost for good, or stolen. And some, the trackable owner sends out a proxy/replacement after a while. So I think it would be hard to come up with a statistic for longest unfound TB. 3 Quote Link to comment

The "TBxxxxx" is the Reference number, and the Tracking code is the "secret" number. Every Reference number I've ever seen was on the right on the trackable's page, above Trackable Options.
