+Max and 99
For those of you who do not read the geocaching release notes this is relevant to the Waymarking subforums: Release Note March 15 2022 1 Quote Link to comment

+ScroogieII
AND now I must right click a link to open it in a new tab - yet ANOTHER "IMPROVEMENT". W3C compatibility? Not bloody likely, given that exhibited in the compatibility of the rest of the site! As well, I totally agree with anything both Andreas and 99 might have said on the pertinent thread! Overall - I'm NOT in agreement with ANY of the changes. Guess that may label me as a Status Quo type of guy. So be it! Keith Edited March 21, 2022 by ScroogieII Quote Link to comment
+PISA-caching
Well, nevertheless we were perfectly ignored. :-( I wonder, if new waymarkers will find Getting Started with Waymarking (Read-Only) - Geocaching Forums 1 Quote Link to comment
+Max and 99
Deleting that subforum was a terrible terrible idea! 1 Quote Link to comment
+PISA-caching
Well, at least it was not completely deleted, but archived, but for beginners finding the link on https://forums.geocaching.com/GC/index.php?/forum/52-Waymarking/ will be trickier than before. Quote Link to comment

Agree 100%!! grrrrrr I wonder if this is part of a larger trend of companies getting tired of hosting forums. I have seen several close in the last year. They may be expensive, but for folks who use them, they are CRITICAL. I got so much help as a newbie WMer from that forum. I hope we can figure out a new way. I am also noticing that newest replies do not move the forum threads up -- so easy for things to get buried with the redesign Edited March 24, 2022 by Benchmark Blasterz typo Quote Link to comment
+ScroogieII
On the thread in question my last/final comment has apparently been deleted. Is that a common happenstance over there on that side of the game? Keith Quote Link to comment
