denied in blogger cathegories

Today I recived that has been declined all af the WM in the cathegory bloggers that I send to review 9 days ago.

There were voted for the reviewers but I want to share some coments and preocupations.

 

One revisor say "This is a website with a blog, not a website for a blog. Easy deny. Plus this isn't the submitter's photos." The first part before easy deny could be fine or not, but "Plus this isn't the submitter's photos." If you see the WM that I published in this country you will be that I sateyed in the country (posted):

Other coment of other revisor: "I don't think the submitter has even visited Egypt and the pyramids??? The lone photo upload is small and poor quality and don't even feel it's his photo, but stolen from another site/person. Shameful if so."  I had three photos of Egypt in 2010, that was printed, I was a problem with the camera and that time I haven't cloud or goolge photos, and I keep 3 photos in paper.

 

The same revisor in other WM "A crappy photo used, did the submitter actually visit the country? " If you see my WM's you can see the photos of mine in the country. But you can think that was stolen to other people. Do you want my registration of this GPS? My plane tickets? stuffed doddo from Mauritius.

 

The coment (I think that the same last revisor "Submitter is just trying to get waymark numbers." shows us the true transparency of their votes and personal interests. I didn't know this was a competition, or that it bothered people that someone wanted to get benchmarks. Would there be a problem if I did 20,000 WM on Places of Recycling? Would this person mind?

Other comment in Mauritios WM blog: "Submitter is just trying to get waymark numbers, hasn't proven he has even been to this location in person with photos and personal experience. Also, the category needs a re-write to restrict submissions like these, as anyone can submit to the category without actually visiting the a blog location." I think that the previous photo is for you.

Don't worry, I no longer sent the ones I don't have photos of, because seeing how some of them act...

I think that some of them are not suitable for the category (or for be revisor)

The bloggers category does not require a photo and it does not require that you have personally visited in order to post a waymark.

Hi Max.

Photo won't was the problem, I submited blogs of countries when I were. If they want to change "Also, the category needs a re-write to restrict submissions like these, as anyone can submit to the category without actually visiting the a blog location" is no problem, because I was in that countries. Problem was other things: that were stolen photos, I want submit lot of WM ...

If I send to review 2000 WM in the cathegory ISS you will denied me because "Submitter is just trying to get waymark numbers." ?

I know that no ;-)

Nope.

And if the Centenarian category wants to limit my numbers they better state that in the description! 😁

now I send others, to see why they deny them. At the moment one denied because it said it was news, when a variable of "Primary blog type" is NEWS.

I have to send my private photos scaned because all my WM published in Mauritius, Bali, Jamaica, Cuba, etc are with stolen photos as some say.
I see WM published by people who weren't even there, but I'm interested because I'm worried about creating many reference brands...
I'm waiting.

IIRC this was one of the earliest if not the earliest category, created by Groundspeak. I have not created a waymark in this category myself, since I’m a shutterbug not a blogger - but I’m going to look around and see what I may see.
