Map keeps crashing on my iPad

I was hoping it was a temporary issue, but 99% of the time when I try to open a geocache from the Geocaching map (website), it crashes and I get the error message below. I’m using an iPad and currently running ipadOS 15.2. Error message attached. Thank you!

Trying with an Ipad Air2 running 15.2... everything's looks fine here.

I’ve been getting the same error in desktop Safari.

Me too and my MacBook Air is totally up to date.

The same on my MacBook Pro. I already tried to point out the problem on November 12th:

I reported the connection error back in July 🙄

Crazy that the Groundspeak doesn't do anything. I'll write an email to the HQ now. There has to be someone who is responsible for it.

I’m still receiving this error much too often.

I’m still receiving the error message above. Almost 6 months since I first reported it.

I’m still experiencing this crashing error on my iPad Pro and iPad mini. Both are running the recent updates. The Pro is few generations old, but. the Mini is the most recent. Is there any news on an update to correct the issue?

I'll add, I'm seeing this on Safari on two Macbooks (a 2019 16", and a 2021 M1 Max 16" - both running MacOS 13.1), and on Safari and Firefox on my iPad Pro M1 (running iPadOS 16.2)

I get it every time I click on the Map layer selector.
