I was in the middle of a category change on one of my (not yet approved) waymarks WM15ACA and something went wrong - now any time I hit the "Edit" button I get the error page. Can one of the gurus take a look and see what's wrong there? THANKS.

I have tried this multiple times with the same result.  Clicking on "edit" from the decline notice or from my profile list gives the same error message.  Waiting a while and trying again, gives the same error message.  I can submit it as uncategorized, but I cannot edit it. 

 

The old (declined) category was removed, but I cannot choose a new category. 

 

The mister (ted) has the same problem. 

 

I have another to edit, using the same category.  I'll wait to do that one, in case the problem is editing rather than just changing categories.

 

Hopefully Monday will bring some repair work.

I am still unable to edit my Waymark, but I can edit another declined Waymark without trying to choose a different category. 

 

Sometimes there are folks here who can fix problems.  If anyone is able, can the 3 Dimensional Art category be assigned to WM15A9H?  If it has a category assigned, perhaps it will get over the uncategorized loop.

I have had this issue twice recently and never had the issue before. No amount of effort has resulted in anything other than the dreaded "An Error Has Occurred" window.

I can no longer change the category on my unapproved waymarks. All I get is an error message. Super frustrating.

Thanks for the info, Groundspeak is aware of the problem. Hopefully, things will get back to normal soon.

We definitely are looking into these at the moment. For some context, we're doing a pretty major overhaul to the Waymarking email server and also fixing some security issues at the same time. It's kind of a big update that has potential to create a few hiccups along the way. We'll do our best to fix anything that breaks as a result.

The uncategorized waymark issue and also the one Snowdog listed here should both be fixed now.

Bootron! You waited till one minute after I had to REDO my Grand Canyon puzzle waymark (since I can't edit all the work I did to put it in the right category). ONE MINUTE! Haha.

Thank you for fixing this.  I've been trying each day to edit my Waymark.  Today it worked and I am happy instead of frustrated.

I'm getting an error message after an hour of no problems working on waymarks:

Sounds like mebbe their authentication certificate (or whatever it's called) may have expired.
