You can bulk buy codes for things like geocoins, but you must have Groundspeak approve the coin design. It's more than what most people want to do when they ask about buying just the tracking codes.

We wanted to get coins when new, and looked into Bulk Codes. 

By the time we factored in the design, manufacture, engraving, the time for Groundspeak to approve the design, and all, it was cheaper in the long run to have one of the approved Manufacturers make if for us.

Yeah.  Those codes are best used for making sets of nice Geocoins.  People who need only a Tracking Code or two are better off buying a sturdy TB dog tag that comes engraved and identifiable as a Trackable Item game piece.  Attach that to most anything.

 

Or go look in the Geocaching Shop for clearance tags that are even less expensive, like I do.

There are great deals here.  But that depends on your location.  Shipping costs are a consideration.

 

Search other online shops, too.  Beware that some tags are on clearance because nobody wants them.
